85% of attempts to get on the pitch were repelled, apparently.
Have a look at this tweet from this twat from the BBC:

https://twitter.com/sistoney67/status/974393355240198145?s=19

"It is estimated stewards repelled 85% of the attempts to get on the pitch @WestHamUtd on Saturday. Trouble wasn't spontaneous. It was planned, involved in excess of 100 people and was co-ordinated through mobile phones"

BULLSHIT!!!

Think what you people have not factored into these equations if some of the 85% of the attempts were actually made by the people who then got on the pitch.

Sort it OUT!.

I fail to see how this reflects badly on the fans. Surely it makes us look more civilised, less like an angry mob putting innocent fans in danger?

Suggesting it is organised should get us more sympathy.

Thanks BBC!

Thank god mobiles don't work. Half the upper tier would be texting throughout the whole game.

Re: 85% of attempts to get on the pitch were repelled, apparently.
All this fake news is clearly aimed at other than West Ham.

Pretty obvious no one without minimum knowledge of the stadium would accept the organised by mobile phone bit without question, believing it was done "on the fly". After all, THEIR mobile phones work everywhere (except where they don't, like some places in St. Albans, but, *sigh*, that's the English countryside for you.)

As soon as verifiable challenges to that belief surfaces they have to start back-tracking. Questions the validity of all that comes from these people.

The backtracking now by that BBC journalist would make Michael Jackson proud.

I was 4th row from pitch in BML and couldn't see any more attempts from BML or other. Absolute bollocks..

The team couldn't get off quick enough, except Arnie who was excellent.

We support them, they could support us.

I have no idea, just going by what was quoted by the ever reliable BBC who got this groundbreaking information from ‘various sources’. Although they changed the article to state all of the pre organised phone shenanigans now happened outside the ground as they probably realised you can’t get a signal inside.

Load of old tripe. 4 people on the pitch and a few hundred singing to Gold and Sullivan and now it’s an organised riot. Without wanting to be overly paranoid but if this happened over Liverpool or Tottenham they’d probably be celebrating the passion of the great fans. Cunts!!!

Well I know 11 blokes that didn't turn up on the pitch

I was at the game and there were NOT another 22 attempts to invade the pitch. I wandered up to the area below the owners for the last 15 minutes of the game and if that was a major disturbance then the world has gone soft. Handbags at worst.

I have to say that if you all want to get out of the stadium then just misbehave at every game, we'll be thrown out soon enough. The RWHFAG claim it's time for revolution, well have one then. What's a 'static demonstration' going to achieve? It's all mouth. As poofy as the popcorn.

They have now changed it to say it was organised outside the stadium before the game on mobile phones, hahaha.

I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that they accuse us fans of organising all this shit using mobile phones yet communicate with us as though we only read the low end tabloid mainstream press.

Absolutely fucking clueless are our club.
